Resources & Services |  | NIVE resources support NIVE’s outstanding reputation as an innovative and developing vocational education institution. NIVE is equipped with modern fixtures and fittings and computer laboratories equipped with state-of-the-art industry-standard computers. The resources are upgraded on an ongoing basis.
Modern classrooms with the latest audio-visual equipment provide pleasant learning environments. For best pedagogical impact, NIVE classes are small.

NIVE has the following facilities on campus to assure successful student experiences:
LEARNING RESOURCE CENTRE
The LRC holds a wide variety of resources required for NIVE courses. Apart from books, students can peruse the daily newspapers and specialist journals and magazines. The LRC also stocks videos and CD ROMS. Computers in the LRC have Internet, with access to electronic journals and newspapers. Staff members are always available to help students find what they need. Study space is available for individuals and groups.
IT LAB
The IT Lab is available to all students. It provides an excellent facility for the practical work that may be required for courses. IT Lab computers have access to the Internet.
STUDENT WELFARE SERVICES
The Student Welfare Services team helps students through their time at the Institute. The team endeavours to provide help, information and support. For personal or confidential concerns, students can make an appointment with one of the Student Counsellors.
CAREER EDUCATION AND GUIDANCE
NIVE ensures that students receive the maximum benefit from their learning experience. NIVE provides guidance for the important choices and decisions that students make in regards to their learning and development. The guidance is well informed and tailored to meet individual student needs, interests and abilities.
A professionally qualified Career Advisor offers confidential and impartial advice and guidance at all stages of the student’s learning experience. This includes: - Support with decisions about which programmes and
specialisations to study at NIVE, based on individual needs and circumstances
- Support in handling personal or emotional issues, which may
act as barriers to learning
- Support through training that enables the student to explore,
find and manage relevant information about career choices
- Support with the transition from NIVE to employment

FOOD COURT AND RECREATION AREA
Academic City has a modern, well-equipped Food Court and Recreation Area.
PRAYER ROOMS
NIVE has male and female prayer areas to enable students to offer their prayers regularly when they are on the campus.
